Izzy & Preschool

I signed Izzy up for the school district's preschool program months ago. They were waiting for a grant to go through before they could make a decision on who got into preschool or not.  We've been telling him that he will start school soon, but I've also been trying to come up with alternatives just in case the school district's preschool program didn't work out. We got an email today and I almost cried because I was so happy for him!! He got in and also got his teacher assignment....Mrs Kitchen. He's going to LOVE it!!!

 

 Osi wanted to wear Meilani's shopkins pj's one day. It went from good....

 to bad.....

 to worse, really fast!!

We also discovered our little Osi loves broccoli, I wish we had more broccoli lovers in our house, but maybe if I keep making it over and over again,, they will all eventually come to like it:)

24th of July Parade

We said goodbye to Dad this morning, he's heading to Tonga for 17 days to do a medical mission with a bunch of other doctors. In order to distract ourselves we decided to go to the 24th of July parade in Monroe. We will miss him terribly!!

Swimming with Cousins

We are so lucky to live near so many cousins!!

 When we came out of the dressing room Osi was pulling back on my hand, crying, and whining to stay away from the water. We took baby steps, and got in the pool slowly, walked around slowly with him holding onto my finger with a death grip.  About 20 minutes into our pool day he was walking around by himself (with me following behind him to make sure his feet didn't go out from under him)  Pretty soon he was having as much fun as the other kids:)

Candids

 For his birthday Ami went shopping on his favorite Chinese website. He got a few shirts, a hat, socks   and these shoes. Which he is extremely proud of.

 When one of our kids has money and their brother or sisters needs money....bribery at it's finest!!

We went school shopping, Izzy and Meilani were the only ones that wanted a picture with all of their new things:)

Happy Birthday Misi!!

Happy 12th Birthday Misi!! Misi is our always drinking chocolate milk (like 15 cups a day), more organized than his brothers, baseball playing, sort of middle child, chill, but often times bored, friendly to everybody,  easily forgiving, animal loving, boy.  Misi is excited to start the 7th grade, and hang out with his friends again. (he hasn't had a phone so it's tough to get a hold of them in the summer) Misi is a kind and helpful brother & son, and we love him so much!!

4th of July Parade

Another 4th of July parade in the books:) Ami was working in the ward's snow cone booth, and Ofeina was marching with the other cheerleader's.

 A few days before Osi fell on Kyson's bike and scraped up his nose, forehead, and cheek. Poor baby!!

 and Poor Meilani, she was sick the whole parade. She would stand up to catch the candy, then bring her candy back to her bag, and throw up is her sick bowl:(

Luckily, this year the weather was good to us and it was in the high 70's through out the whole parade.
