Summer

The kids have been out of school since May 23rd and they think that all they have done so far is clean.  Which I guess is partly true since we've started our "summer deep clean" Did I mention that I LOVE the summer schedule?  We usually sleep in until 9-10 and I'm finally feeling caught up on my sleep!! Pila had 2 weeks off of school and he started his hospital rotations today.  We're so excited for him to be out of the classroom.  Ofeina and Ami were excited to be "promoted" to the 4th and 3rd grades and Misi is excited to go to kindergarten in August.  It's hard to believe that I will have 3 kids in school!! Here's a few of the other things the kids have been up to so far this summer.....

Mana's current obsession is play-doh.  This is a picture of his "scary hamburger"

 The boys found one of their old remote control helicopters and have been scouring the house for the past week in search of batteries.

 Meilani (aka.....poopsie, princess, or precious) had her 2 month check up today.  She is actually 2 1/2 months....she's 14lbs 12 ounces and 23.5 inches tall.  Which are both in the 90th percentile.  Her doctor asked if she was eating at least 6 times a day and I said "I wish, more like 10-12 times a day" he told me her weight is fine right now but we might need to watch her diet.  Apparently he doesn't get many "big" babies coming to his clinic. (did I mention Mana weighed 17 lbs at 2 months) 

Ofeina went to the zoo before school ended and had a lot of fun and now we all want to go. She said she saw an alligator that was smiling and now her brothers want to see if she's telling the truth or not.
