Misi was so excited to be baptized on Saturday. He prepared by learning and memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith, and getting his bishops interview. One of the best things about turning 8 was he got to join Ami in going to scouts. Pila baptized Misi and did a great job.

We're so proud of Misi!!
The Vakautakakala Family August 1, 2015

We had alot of family come from Utah, and California. Than you so much to them that they came to support Misi in his big day.

We went swimming with all of the cousins at their swimming pool, the kids swam for over 5 hours!!

The V cousins in America.

The only damper on the day was when we came home from the baptism we realized somebody had broken into the house. Pila got home about 2 minutes before us, and the people that were robbing us must have had a spotter watching the house because when Pila got home they went out the back door and jumped the fence. We could tell they were just starting to unhook the electronic equipment and Ofeina spotted a canvas bag, that my mom had her camera equipment in, on the side of the house. (Pila's laptop was also in that bag) We figure they must have started taking stuff out and lining it up on the side of the house, but when we came they couldn't grab the bag. We are so fortunate that the timing was right, only 2 baptisms that day and we came straight home instead of going to a resturant. The police came, we got a police report and now we just need to get the window fixed. All in all, it was a great weekend!!
