Event week

This is often what our house looks like when we have a big Zulily event. This day in particular is packaging day. Everybody has a job and the less complaints (which I usually don't hear a lot of when Pila's helping) the sooner it gets done. We turn Pandora on the Bluetooth speaker as loud as we like it, and have fun, family time. It is chaos....and the mess of "event week" drives me nuts, but we usually reward ourselves with dinner afterwards and then do it all over again a few weeks later:) 

We're trying to be a little more "business like" this year so if the kids want to get paid for the work they do at LittleVMen they have to record their hours on their time cards.

Are we the only family that goes to the store and comes home with a birthday cake...even if there aren't any birthdays close? This one had blue frosting. It was a mess!! Note to self....no more blue frosting!!
