We spent almost the whole day at honors roll awards assemblies today. The first one was Mana and Misi's grades. It lasted about an hour and a half, in which Meilani threw a fit and cried the.entire.time!! She did not want to be there and definitely made it known. We could have left earlier but they went by alphabetical order and Misi was the second to last one in the whole assembly to get his honors award. (We were one of the only 2 families left in the auditorium!!)
This was waiting for Ofeina and Ami's assembly to start, Meilani was in a lot better mood by then.
They gave you about 1 second to snap a picture, and I missed Ofeina's 1 second of fame😊
But we got a good one afterwards
Ami (sort of missed this one too, it's not as cool when you're older to stand still for your parents to get a good picture😉)
Misi
Mana (he was really excited to dress up, but one of the kids in his class made fun of his tie, so he took it off before the assembly. The other kids were just excited not to have to wear school uniform shirts)
I was really impressed with the school. I'm not sure the total amount of students, probably around 750-800, but 600 of them made the honor roll. (Getting a B or higher) I'd say that's a pretty decent school:)
