James The Mormon

After hearing James the Mormon on Youtube/Facebook/BYU song...etc, Pila noticed that they were coming to Mesa and the tickets were pretty cheap so we bought a bunch and took whoever wanted to go. Ofeina's good friend Paris came along, and they had a blast!!

This was Mana's first "concert" it was in a gym at a high school, at first we all went up and sat in the bleachers. There was a ton of people standing on the floor (hundreds) in front of the stage but I thought he would get tired after standing so long. A few minutes into it he wanted to go down and dance/play so bad so luckily Ofeina, Paris, and Ami took him down and I watched from the stands. It was a really fun, family concert so he had a lot of fun.

They got pretty close to the stage (you can't see Ofeina but Paris is on the side with the grey longsleaved shirt)




Mana really wanted a shirt, and I was all for it, since it wasn't even a James the Mormon shirt, (it was a charity that sponsered the event) he finally talked me into it by saying "but mom, this is my first concert and I want something to remember it by" Ofeina and Ami both got concert tees at their first concerts so I couldn't really deny him his point!! (BTW Misi didn't want to go, and even though Pila would have loved to go, he stayed home with the other kids) After wards you could buy a "meet and great ticket" to a local soda shop, get free refreshments and meet James the Moron

We got there pretty fast and were some of the first in line to get ours drinks and cookies, and then waited and waited for them to show up. It took about an hour and by that time it was around 11:00 so we quickly got pictures and left. This is a DJ that he sang with most of the time.

James the Mormon wasn't feeling very good, you wouldn't beable to tell from the picture, but I kind of cornered him to get a quick picture so we could leave to make the 45 minute drive home:)
