Ami's Scout Camp

Ami was really lucky to get to go to scout camp with our ward in Arizona. Ami and Pila flew back to Arizona after Braxton's farewell so that Pila could go back to work and Ami could go to scout camp. Ami was sooo excited and had a lot of fun at scout camp. He earned 13 merit badges and loved the fact that he didn't have to shower much or brush his teeth!! I bugged his scout leader a bit and he sent me a few updates of how he was doing. He sent me this picture of a fish that Ami had caught, in the reservoir, and cooked.

And also this update, I'm so happy that Ami had such a great time!! The best part about it was when we were at the reunion, Ami's scout camp was literally a five minute walk away. One day as we were driving into Blanding to go swimming we drove down the road and there he was....walking with his scout leader and friend down the road. To see him after missing him so much put a permanent smile on my face for the rest of the day!! When it was time for scout camp to end all I had to do was go drive down the dirt road a bit, pick him up, and bring him back to the family reunion. It worked out perfectly!!
