I had showered the night before and slept with wet hair, so my hair was a little crazy and out of control....definitely not the perfect pictures that you want to see for the rest of your life;)
Izzy was born with plenty of black hair....curly when it's wet:)
He definitely didn't like the bright lights!!
I'm not sure if words can describe the love I/we feel for this little guy:)
After hanging out in the hospital for a few days, we got to go home and get back to real life:)
I feel extremely lucky and blessed that we had the "best case scenario" considering our circumstances, throughout the whole delivery. Things could have gotten pretty scary, for Izzy and myself, but I know I was being looked out for:) and I will forever be grateful my Pila's priesthood and that he was able to give me a blessing while we were at the hospital.

Gorgeous baby! All that black hair!!! I'm jealous. And you looked beautiful, too. Don't be so hard on yourself, especially when you nearly died! Congrats, to the whole fam. :)
