Happy Birthday Meilani

Happy Birthday to our Princess Mei!!!!  Meilani turned 3 on March 19th and I keep forgetting to have her do her "birthday blog". This little girl is full of SO MUCH drama, delight, and charm. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she joins the high scool drama club and stars in every show. She is always acting out the shows she watches, and telling us stories. She has us all wrapped around her finger and her blanket is still her constant companion. It's getting pretty mangled from being chewed on all of the time, but she still loves it. If it gets lost, it's an all out treasure hunt for it, if you ask her where it is  she will tell you 'oh, I was snuggling with it on the couch, and then I was snuggling with it in the kitchen.....etc." One night last week we lost is and couldn't find it anywhere...she cried herself to sleep and I finally found  it outside in her little tykes car. I'm not sure how we will wean her from it, but I know someday it will have to happen. Meilani is fearless, and is always asking her "best brother Mana" to come play with her. She is a really really good colorer and can paint and color all day long, she's really good at staying in the lines, and has recently learned how draw people.  I will have to post some of her artwork, because she is just so proud of herself. I could go on and on about this little girl, but here are a few of her favorite things. (not mentioned is how much she loves to eat, snuggle with her dad, change clothes every half hour (she's not as into costumes anymore, but the outfit combs she chooses are pretty outrageous), and help me in every way possible. If she hears me in doing laundry she will come help, loading the dishwasher...she will ask to help, folding clothes....she has to help she's such a great girl and we love her very much:)
