Mexico Vacation

A couple weeks ago we went to Mexico with some of our friends. They have a friend that owns a condo in an area called Rocky Point, they invited us to spend the weekend down there with them. We had looked online at the resort as we prepared for our trip, but going to the real place was soooo much better:) it was so beautiful and we had a really great weekend.

The outdoor terrace in our "penthouse". The condo was around 3,000 sq ft and had a huge outdoor space, complete with hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.

We didn't get to sunburned on Friday, but Saturday was another story. Even though we put sunscreen on we all got burned so bad. The kids thought they were going to die, we were applying and reapplying aloe every hour. Another good thing about the condo was that there was satellite tv, so when the kids needed a break from the sun and ocean we went up and watched tv for an hour or so, then back to the ocean. There was so much room in this place, we could have easily slept 15-20 people.

Another view. It seems like I only had one child for most of this vacation because all of the other kids were out playing in the ocean with Pila almost the whole time. So I will do a "Mexico vacation part 2" when I can download the pictures from Pila's phone:)
