I can't believe today is December 1st!!! Our November literally flew by in the blink of an eye!! Pila has 2 complete months of being on call during his first year of residency. November was his first month, and he was soooo busy. Going in to the hospital to round on his patients at 4:30 am and not returning home until around 8:00 every night. When he got home he would eat dinner, we'd have family prayer and he would usually be sound asleep within an hour of coming home. By the end of the first week we were sick of his pager and crossing our fingers every night when he got home, that it wouldn't go off (it usually did, but most of the time it was just a nurse with a question) Needless to say we are relieved that November is over and he/we won't have to go through that until March!!
As for myself it seemed like I was sewing the whole month!! We had another solo event with Zulily on November 6th, our prior highest event sales had been 292 and in that event we sold 727!! It was insane!! I had even hired 2 new sewers prior to the sale because we have gotten so busy, we added headbands and T-shirts to our events. I thought we might sell around 30-40 headbands in the event (so I didn't pre make any) and the first day we sold 159!! We also included two new vendors in our events, my mom and sisters have an Etsy shop that sells the cutest maxi skirts, HeyMommaDesign, and Pila's aunt from California made some harem pants for the event and they both did really well. Zulily keeps asking me to make different products but I can't do it all by myself so I'm so happy that I have other people to turn to that like to sew and make a little extra money in the process:) We had 2 other events during November and about 20-25 Etsy orders every week, so we had a very busy LittleVMen month. Probably our highest selling/earning month so far:)
We finally got Ofeina back on November 10th, my mom came to AZ with her and stayed with us until that Friday (the 14th I believe) I'm sure she was glad to get on the plane and fly back to Utah, because we were both sewing for almost 10 hours a day while she was here, I'm sure I would have had a mental breakdown had she not been here!!
Ami has been playing basketball in a city league for the first time, and we have seen a vast improvement, from his first game to now. He has a game every Saturday morning and we love going to watch him play, he's one of the main scorers on his team and the point guard so he has gotten a lot of experience and learned a lot more about the game….more than just playing on the playground with a bunch of boys at school.
Meilani is obsessed with puppies and this day she had to bring her pull toy dog "Bushy" with her to Ami's game. I am slightly sad that we are having a little boy, only because this girl is sooooo dramatic, as most girls are at 2 years old, and my boys have all been a lot calmer. I'll miss the drama of a little girl around the house once she grows out of it:)

Getting ready to start his game, (I'll have to make sure to show him this pictures because we are working on not biting finger nails, with the older kids)

A little bit of legging madness from our last event on November 20th

I am loving this AZ weather right now. Sunday evening walks, and all you need is basketball shorts and a light jacket. In the daytime it's still around 70-80 degrees, I thought it quite ironic that these past few days I have heard the AC kick on a few times (it's set at 80 degrees)

A few days a go Pila's car got backed in to while parked at work, funny story. This guy had parked his truck in front of the hospital, still running, doors locked, AC on because of his dog waiting in the car, while he ran inside to get his meds. Came back out and the truck was gone…somehow it had "moved" in a semi circle and hit Pila's car in the process. Now we've got to get it fixed…..just another thing on my "to-do list" right?!

Another thing we love about AZ is the gas price!! If you told me I would see this price at the gas pump a year ago while we were living in CA I never would have believed you:)

Ofeina and Ami and in the choir at their school, they had a concert the other night at a resort's Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Ofeina had a solo in the song Let It Go (frozen song) her and Ami both did a great job.

Pila has been growing out his beard this month his "on-call beard" as he calls it. He kind of likes it….

We're kind of ready for him to shave it off:)
We had a great Thanksgiving, we weren't sure what Pila's schedule would be that day so we kept it kind of low key. Luckily he got home around noon that day and got to spend a little time with the boys watching football and resting. The food was delicious, we ate around 4:00 and had tons of leftovers. I was quite proud of myself for making pie crust for the first time in our marriage (thanks to relief society) Ofeina made a pumpkin pie and I made a pecan pie and they were fabulous!!

Yesterday Meilani took a late nap and around midnight wouldn't quit bugging me to give her a bath. She is a girl after my own heart and could probably live in the bathtub, her excuse to take a bath is " daddy says I'm stinky" (he said that one time and she has clung to that phrase ever since) she takes about 2-3 baths a day. Anyways last night as the whole house slept she filled these little legos up with water then poured them in to this big cup…..over and over again!! I tried to persuade her to get out but she wouldn't have it so I finally got a pillow and blanket and laid on the floor outside the door waiting for her to be done. Finally the water cooled and she declared that she was done.
I think I've mentioned a little bit about everybody but Misi and Mana….Misi is still obsessed with Pokemon cards and loves playing anything electronic. and Mana is obsessed with Temple Run, often going in the backyard and setting himself a temple run course which he runs around over and over. Baby is doing good, getting bigger and kicking around like a wild child in my stomach. I'll be 28 weeks on Wednesday:)
