Since the next few pictures I have in my phone are all Izzy, so the first of this post will be all about our big 9 month old:)
Last Saturday Pila had a rugby game, he plays for a team in Mesa and although we previously hadn't been able to go to any of his games we finally made it to this one. They played ASU. It was the absolute perfect November weather...low 80's and as we were sitting there enjoying the game and warm sun Ofeina let out a gasp and started freaking out.
I said "what?! What's wrong?!"
She said "oh my gosh, I saw his face!!"
I said "what?! Who?!"
She said "what is one of the top 20 most embarrassing things that can happen in a middle schoolers life?"
I said "what?"
She said "you see your teacher outside of school!! But guess what's even more embarrassing than that? Your dad plays rugby with him!!!"
Lined up on the field right next to Pila was Ofeina's science teacher!! Lol (we got a lot of mileage out of that one....and still are:)) so she spent the rest of the game avoiding him, especially when she mentioned it to Pila after the game and Pila introduced himself to Ofeina's teacher and pointed her out to him.
Anyways, Pila did awesome, beat out 3 guys trying to tackle him and ran down the field for a try (score in rugby). 37 and he can still beat all of those young college guys:)
We don't have any grass at our house so this is one of the first times Izzy has ever felt dried up prickly grass:)
Here he is reading a book:)
We think he is the cutest little man ever:)
This picture showed up on Facebook page, from 1 year ago. Our pre-Izzy family of 7.
Ofeina and Ami went to the first school dance of the year:) of course they had SOOO much fun!!
