A few weekends ago the kids were telling us they were feeling like going on a road trip. No problem!! We needed to go to California anyways, so off we went. We had a great weekend shopping, visiting, and hanging out with our family. One of the nights we went on a cousin date to an all you can eat sushi resturant. Between Pila and his 2 cousins and their husbands they ate 86 rolls of sushi....it was crazy!! We had a fun time:) 
I over bought on fabric and didn't think we would beable to get it all home, but of course Pila came to the rescue and got it all to fit!!
Except...when we got home we were minus one roll. This one was right in the middle and must have slipped out, somewhere on the side of the road between California and Arizona lays this beautiful roll of material:( (this was a first and we were quite sad!!)

For Pila's birthday all he wanted to do was hang out with the kids, so he took the older 4 to a movie while I stayed home with a sick Meilani and Izzy.
Mana got some awards at school and he, and we, were so proud of him.
