One day about 6 weeks ago when I dropped Misi off at football practice I noticed that the super fun park by his practice didn't have any kids playing on it. (I usually avoid this park because there are usually so many kids that it's hard to watch my own). I called the kids, ran a few errands, went home, picked them and got back in just enough time for Misi to be done with his practice. Mana was playing on the monkey bars, and had gone back and forth a few times. I wasn't paying especially close attention because i was keeping an eye on Izzy, just glancing at Mana every 30 seconds or so. When we go anywhere in public it's a constant kid count in my head, as I'm sure most moms can relate too:) anyways, I had this thought in my mind "he's going to fall off and break his arm" sure enough not even 30 seconds later I hear "mooooommm" in one of those voices that is not often heard. To make a long story short, I dropped the big kids off, Pila was at a work dinner and had his phone off, and told Ofeina to babysit and feed the kids, and I was taking Mana to the doctor. We waited for 2-3 hours he cried and screamed so much in the car that he fell asleep in the waiting room. Mana had a buckle fracture on both bones of his left arm. He was in a splint for a week, then on to this red cast. (I had tons of pictures on my other phone, but lost them all:( ) when we went to Mexico we tried to keep his cast covered but with him being in water for almost 3 days straight it was impossible. Pila cut it off, and put a new cast on a few days later.
