Swimming & Making Cookies

While Ofeina and Ami were gone we went to California for a baby blessing. We got a hotel room so the kids could swim and I could keep them out of everybodies way while they were cooking and getting things ready. Pudgy (our cousin's daughter) came over and swam with us...the kids loved it:)

Sometimes I have to give up control of things. Sometimes I send the kids outside for water fun and make cookies. If I don't have "helpers" I can make them in less than 5 minutes with little to no mess. With "helpers" it's a whole different story:)

But they love it, so I let them.

Sugar cookies are very popular in our house:)

Ami and Misi at their pinewood derby for scouts. They both had fun making and racing their cars.
