Izzy's Blessing Day

We blessed Izzy on April 12th, we were so lucky to have family come from Utah and Phoenix. We had a Zulily event the week before and had a purchase order due the Monday after the blessing, during the event we sold 531 headbands!! Sooo here's a picture of everybody flipping headbands. Pila got home (from a cadaver lab when they practice all kinds of surgical procedures that he had to go to Saturday morning) and put an end to it "no more LittleVMen this weekend" he said...I didn't argue at all!! It was nice to take a break. We had such a good time we can't wait for August when we can all reconvene for Misi's baptism.
We left our little BBQ in California when we moved and the kids and I have been trying to get Pila to buy a new one ever since. Luckily this weekend he decided to have a BBQ on Saturday night, so he went out and bought a new one.
Izzy is wearing the same outfit that all
Of our boys have worn to get blessed in. A tupenu (traditional Tongan formal skirt, which most males wear to church and as a school uniform) and I quickly made him his little tie before church started.
Izzy was such a good little boy during his blessing, Pila did a great job as always:) Meilani cried and held her breath during her whole blessing, thrashing around and because her dress was so slippery she almost got dropped. Izzy slept the whole time and didn't make a peep....such a relief!!
Izzy always pokes his little lip out when he is sad, and it's just about the cutest thing ever:)
Mid sneeze.
Our handsome boy on his big day
He's smiling all of the time now, when I took him to his 6 week appointment he had gained 4lbs and 4 inches since birth. Everybody says he takes after his namesake, which is Pila's grandpa, who was a very tall strong man. I guess we'll wait and see. He certainly eats enough to keep growing. Nights are particularly fun, he wakes up A LOT, wants to eat and then will go right back to sleep. I didn't realize how much he was getting up until the other night when I checked my phone every time he woke up. He woke up every hour on the half hour!! I about died, no wonder I'm so out of it in the mornings!! Oh well, this will be my last little baby, so I'm trying to enjoy every second of it:)

Waking up every hour to feed a baby!! How in the world do you function?! I am so cranky with my kids when I have to be up with the baby a lot. He sure is handsome though, just like the rest of your boys! Love his outfit and the fact that you made his tie that morning. That was totally me sewing a headband the morning of Isabelle's blessing day...
