This is common sight around our house. Every single one of us talking silly to this little guy, trying to squeeze every little coo or smile out of him that we can get:)
One of my children must have taken this picture...I'm guessing it happened the other day when Mana spent an extra long time in the bathroom. "Toilet face"
Izzy loves to be swaddled, the tighter the better, we have found the softest, comfiest, wash it a million times and it only gets softer, jersey knit material that we are introducing into our LittleVmen shop as swaddle blankets.
We broke out the bumbo the other day as I was printing shirts and the kids and Pila were packaging. Izzy loved it then, not so much now.
Pila had to go to California this past weekend for a funeral. A member of our old ward (whom he home taught) passed away. It never gets easier for the kids and I when he has to go out of town for the night, so he gave Meilani and Mana a dollar to hold for him and a promise that he would take them to the store when he got home. Ami had a basketball game and he and Ofeina had a choir concert right after that (on Saturday) that they both had solos in and couldn't miss. So while Pila went to California, I stayed home and was the taxi driver. The concert was at the city bike rally, at the kids' school. We spent about 3 hours at the bike rally Saturday afternoon, indulging in all of the "free things" free lunch, balloon animals, face painting, and best of all free bike helmets. There was a bicycle course set up and bikes to borrow so while Ofeina and her friends walked around, I parked myself under the shade tent with Izzy and Meilani and the boys rode the borrowed bikes for over an hour. Now I know we need to get our bikes out and start going for family bike rides:)
Our 4 oldest have been extremely obsessed with WWE wrestling lately. They will look up moves on the Internet and then go outside to the trampoline and practice perfecting the moves. Misi and Mana have decided to be a tag team when the grow up.

Meilani got her hollow leg from her dad....she is ALWAYS hungry!!

I love jersey swaddling blankets! I made a couple with Isabelle and they were my favorite. I'm going to "someday" make baby blankets to sell and I'll have to include those. What size do you make yours?
That toilet face is hilarious. Boys.
