Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween from The V's...a little bit late:) 

The Saturday 2 weeks before Halloween I survived a trip with my babies to Walmart to pick out costumes. I was hoping Pila would be available to come so we could divide and conquer, but he had to work, so after many promises, I braved it. I was quite surprised at how easy it was, the kids saw what they wanted, made quick decisions, and we were done in under a half hour. (Last year it took over an hour, and a few return trips for missing costume parts) here's a preview for their dad, you can see his foot in the bottom of the picture:)

At the ward trunk or treat. This happened to fall on the day that Pila was in the hospital for his hand. Not sure what Ami was doing here with his bucket over his face:)

The only individual picture I took, this girl always sticks by my side so getting pictures of her is a little bit easier than trying to get pictures of everybody else.

The kids LOVE watching you tube channels where they open blind bags or blind boxes, so they have started their own channel, here's a picture that Ofeina got for me out of one of their videos (made on Halloween night after trick or treating) I was supposed to post it on IG but forgot!! Oops:)

Ofeina and Ami are in their school choir this year (Ami more by default because Ofeina wanted to be in it, it's after school and she would walk home so we "encouraged" Ami to be in it with her so she wouldn't have to walk home alone:)) the concert was at Peter Piper Pizza (like ChuckECheese) it was a school wide Halloween party with discounted pizza, games, trunk or treat, and the concert. We got there and it was insane!! We walked in and walked right back out, and headed over to Petco to walk around while we waited for the concert to start. Meilani obviously didn't like the smell of the store because she plugged her nose the whole time. The other kids were running around like crazy all I heard was "mom, can we get this" about every pet there. (I'm not much of a pet person, because I don't want to clean up 

after it) Ofeina had a solo in the concert and did a great job!!

Oh did I mention that I ran to Walmart last minute, grabbed 4 big bags of candy and we didn't get one single trick or treater?! I didn't even buy any chocolate:(
