On Halloween day Pila was able to get off of work early so we headed over to the Phoenix temple open house. This is something that we had meant to do for the past 2-3 weeks but always had something come up. The open house finished up on November 1st so we really only had 1 day to get there. I am so glad we went and the kids got to see the inside of the temple, the "gasp" was audible as the walked in to the celestial room and baptismal font. Soooo very beautiful!! Our tour guide kept telling us to stop at a little tent on the outside of the temple for a "really professional" picture in front of the temple....he kept emphasizing "professional" so when we got out we headed that way and had to laugh a little when we walked into a small tent about 8'x8' and there was a backdrop of the temple painted on the wall. (I had expected to go stand in front of the actual temple and get a picture taken:)) our 2 year old was acting up at this point so the "tent picture" was as good as we were going to get...I still think it turned out pretty good:)

Such a beautiful family! Glad you have been able to get caught up on the blog, I am dismally behind on mine. I'm glad that Pila is okay after his infection. That is no fun at all.
Madelyn picked out the cream and brown maxi skirt and black and cream floral leggings from your zulily event today. She can't wait to get them! :)
